Steppenwolf Classes West
Los Angeles based acting classes taught by members of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company Ensemble of Chicago and their guests.
Our teachers are working professional actors, directors, writers and performance artists.
They are experienced, passionate, and talented instructors whose love of acting and passion for teaching create an environment in which students feel both safe and challenged to do their best work. As a faculty we are inspired by the same goals: to nurture the ability to act spontaneously, instinctively, and with abandon, while practicing the specificity and discipline required of great acting. We keep our class size small so students have the opportunity to work every session. Each class has the feel of a small ensemble of artists — artists who are inspired by, support and challenge each other.
